Show Crave Assistance; Send S.O.S. Signal It isn't often that the S. O. S. is I radioed to Gunnison for help, but Monday afternoon it became neces-cary neces-cary for Attorney C. M. Edwards, J. W. Jones, president of the Gunnison Lions club, and George Francis, the tonsorial artist, to "yell" for help ; from far-away Levan. The gentel- i men, all members of the Lions club, j motored to Levan for the purpose of j extending the citizens of that place ', an invitation t attend the 'dance held here last evening. Levan was reached when it was found that the car they were riding in was out of commission. It was here that the "Levithan" piloted by Pat Henry and R. J. Parr, went to the rescue of the stranded party and returned them safely. Other than a little inconvenience inconven-ience the trip was successful, some eighteen ticktts for the benefit of the road dance having been sold to the Levar.ites. |
