'Peterson Misses Vada and Arvilla Peterson and Alvie and Buster Peterson, motored to Eureka Eu-reka last Sunday to. spend tho day as the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Tollestrup. Miss Vada remained over and will visit sit the Tollestrup home for a week or ten days. Mrs. John Aim enclinger and Mrs. Oscar Talk were motor travelers to Salt Lake last Friday. They spent bever-al days visiting with friends and relatives, returning home the first of the' week. ..Mrs. C. M. Peterson, who has been spending the winter at Richfield, was here Thursday of last week to attend the annual meeting of the Southern Utah Prysbyterial. Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Thompson were week end guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Herbert at Salina. Chas W. Perkins, in company with H. W. Cherry, visited wh.li friends at Richfield last Saturday. ? Mrs. Ellen Hofheins and Mrs. Albert Al-bert McKenna motored to American Fork last Friday. They returned to j their home Sunday evening. I Mrs. Ira Overfelt entertained for the members of the Bonne Foi club at her home yesterday afternoon from two to five thirty. The completing com-pleting chapters of the study book were read during the needlecraft hour. The hostess served her guests with a delicious luncheon at five o'clock. Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Westenskow are receiving the congratulations of their hosts of friends over the arrival of a fine baby boy at their home Thursday Thurs-day of last week. Both son and the mother are doing splendidly and "Dad" Westenskow is looking forward for-ward to the time he can send his son on the "bread route" for the bakery. Miss Margery Fink, who has charge of the gymnasium work at the Logan academy, was among those from outside out-side points attending the Utah Pres-byterial. Pres-byterial. Miss Fink has been appointed ap-pointed principal of th eacademy for next year; She is now majdng a tour of Utah, California, Arizona and New Mexico and will visit all the Presbyterian schools and academies. - Members of the R. N. A. were the guests at the home of Mrs. Ira Over-felt Over-felt last Saturday afternoon. Progressive Pro-gressive "500" and Man Jongg were the diversions and honors were won by Mrs. J. S. Peterson and Mrs. J. A. Hagan. Delicious refreshments were served by the hostess. The faculty of the Gunnison and Centerfield grade' schools, numbering fifteen, comprised a party that enjoyed en-joyed a picnic and a plunge at Monroe Mon-roe Hot Springs Thursday evening of last week. Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Sanderson and son, and Mrs. Emma Broadhead, I came in from Kenilworth last Sunday Sun-day and are the guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. V. Sanderson. |
