Show Fifty Babies Take Clinic Examination The child clinics held Tuesday and Wednesday of this week were the best and most successful held since the organizatonof the Gunnison Valley Val-ley Health center, declared the officers offi-cers last evening. The cooperation i of the parents from the outlying districts dis-tricts was pronounced and Fayette, Clarion, Centerfield, Mayfiel 1 and Axtell were repi-esented by large numbers, giving every evidence of the favor in which the clinics are being conducted. The attendance from Gunnison, however, was slightly below be-low normal. This is accounted for by the fact of sickness prevailing in many of the homes. A total of fifty babies underwent examination for defects during the two days. On Tuesday twenty babies ba-bies were examined and Wednesday thirty were cared for. The organization organiza-tion was complete at the City hall, where the clinics were held. Both Dr. Hagan and Dr. Aldoua worked double shifts and were loyally aided by nurses and other officers of the organization, or-ganization, and throughout all examinations exam-inations were carried through with dispatch. The new scales and other necessary equipment proved a big aid in doing- the. work. The officers of the clinic want to thank all for the splendid cooperation given, and the growing interest, as shown by this week's clinics, gives assurance that the next meeting will far exceed those of the past. |
