Show Mrs. Slaughter Is Buried at Mayfield The remains of Mrs. Ella Slaughter, Slaugh-ter, who passed away at her homo at Twin Falls, Idaho, January 4, were interred at the Mayfiqld cemetery yesterday afternoon. Preceding the burial, impressive services were held at the meeting house and under the supervision of Bishop Frank Willardson. Willard-son. Invocation was offered by A. C. Anderson and the speakers were H. C. Bogh, Hyrum Christensen and F. J. Christiansen of Mayfield and Mayor May-or Christensen of Gunnison. Mrs. Slaughter was born at May-field, May-field, October 10, 1884, and reside :1 there for many years. Some years ago she, with her husband removed to Twin Falls, Idaho, where she resided re-sided until the time of her death. She was a member of the L. D. S. church and was active in many of the branches. Surviving her are the husband, Walter Slaughter, and two children, Walter A., aged 15, and Ethel, aged 9. The mother and five sisters and two brothers also are left to mourn the death. Ludvig Ekelof of this city is the uncle of Mrs. Slaughter and the former attended the funeral services at Mayfield yesterday. |
