Show What Are Pan Fish? The term pan fish Is many times misinterpreted. Some seem to think that this includes only an inferior sort of species, and others that it is merely mere-ly a term applicable to most any fish which happens to be taken and which Is edible. The true pan fish Is composed com-posed of small but game dwellers of the singing waters of brooks, creeks and rivers, and the shore lines of the lakes. Bream (bluegill or sunfish), rock bass, yellow perch, ringed perch and the horny chub, or dace, are all part and parcel of the pan-fish tribe. Sportsman's Digest. |
