Show Mrs. W. J. Giibble returned home Saturday afternoon after spending several days visiting with her daughters, daugh-ters, Misses Iva, Ella and Noel Gribble, at Salt Lake City. Miss Alta Nelson, who has been absent at Salt Lake, Tooele and other northern cities for the past three weeks, returned to her home in ! Gunnison Friday of last week. Mr. and Mrs. H. N. Erickson spent ! last week as the guest of Salt Lake friends and relatives. They returned return-ed to Gunnison the early days of the week. Mrs. Ross Tollestrop and children are in the city from Salt Lake for a brief visit. They are the guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Willardson. Mr., and Mrs. A. J. Thompson of Salina were the guests of Gunnison friends Sunday afternoon. Miss Theresa . Duggins, a student at the B. Y. U. at Provo, came down from the Garden City Tuesday and visited with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Julius Duggins, for a couple of days. She will return to her studies today. . ' Dr. and Mrs. J. A..Hagan were Mt. Pleasant visitors Sunday. They were the guests of their .daughters, the Misses Julia and Helen Hagan, students stu-dents at Wasatch academy. j LOCAL ITEMS OF INTEREST Teter Hofheins, the contractor, accompanied ac-companied by his sons, Clarence and Clifton, who have been absent at Salt Lake for several months past, returned re-turned to their home in Gunnison on Monday afternoon. They expect to rcm-fin here indefinitely. Austin Lnrscn, son of Mr. and j Mrs. Edwin Larscn, and who has; been located at Los Angeles for sev-j cral months past, returned to Gun- j nison last Saturday. He expects to remain indefinitely. j j Mr. and Mrra. Herbert Johnson and children came down from Salt Lake and spent a couple of days here with relatives. They will 'return 're-turn north today. Mr. and Mrs. June Metcalf returned return-ed home Monday after spending several sev-eral days at the capital city. They were combining business with pleasure pleas-ure while .absent. W. O. Cluff, salesmanager for the Telluride Power company, was here from Richfield the early days of the week. Mr. Cluff was in conference with L. H. Johnson, local manager for the company. Mr. and Mrs. L. G. Anderson were here from Salina Sunday and were the guests of friends and relatives for the day. Mr. and Mrs. Dolph Sanderson are in the city from their home at Spring Canyon. While here they are the guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. V.. Sanderson. County Attorney C. M. Edwards and LoRoy Edwards were motor travelers to Salt Lake yesterday. Attorney At-torney Edwards will attend to some important legal matters and his brother, Roy, will consullt with doctors doc-tors relative to his injured leg. |
