Show John M. Christiansen is at the home of his parents, having arrived last week from Kokomo, Colorado. Mr. Christiansen expects to remain j here for about a month. Miss Marie Gleclhill, who spent a two-weeks' vacation with her par-1 ents, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Gledhill, has returned to Salt Lake to resume her studies at Heiiager's Business college. col-lege. Gail Jensen, manager for Jensen Bros. Gunnison store, has returned from a week's vacation to northern points. Mr. Jensen visited many of the larger grocery and meat stores in the various towns visited and his experience, he avers, proved highly valuable to him. Miss Hazel Hurd, who is visiting here from Cleveland, Ohio, Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Cherry and Wesley Cherry, Cher-ry, spent last Sunday at the Salina Experiment station. Royal Whitlock, George Morley and E. Jensen motored to Nephi Tuesday afternoon and attended the Al. G. Barnes circus performance. Supreme Judge J. W. LOCAL ITEMS OF INTEREST Miss Irene Ehrich, who had been in Gunnison for the past six weeks, conducting the kindergarten school, returned to her home at Salt Lake the first of the week. Fred Swalberg, former county commissioner of Piute county, and now extensively engaged in the stock business, was greeting old friends here Friday of last week. Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Kearns and Mr. and Mrs. Chas. E. Embley motored mo-tored to Twelve Mile canyon Monday and enjoyed the day there celebrating celebrat-ing Pioneer day. Mrs. Idona Maxfield, of Loa, is here from her home and will be the house guest of Mr. and Mrs. John Beemus for two weeks or more. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Weihb:'-echt, of Salt Lake, were among those from outside points attending the Pioneer day festivities in Gunnison. They were the guests at the home of Mrs. Hannah Jepson Sunday and Monday. Farrell Monson, chief mechanic at the Mart Peterson garage, and Mjf.. Monson, are taking a week's vacation. vaca-tion. They have gone to Price where they will visit with Mr. Monsorts parents, and returning will make a short stop at Salina to visit wi.th Mrs. Monson's parents. Mrs. Elsie Bartholomew, Mr. and Mrs. Owen Bartholomew and the Misses Edith, Ella May and Lapriel Bartholomew, of Goshen, visited at the Chas P. Peterson home Sunday and Monday of this week.
