Show British Columbia Plans Building of New Roads Construction of new highways at an ultimate cost of $16,000,000 will be undertaken by British Columbia, according ac-cording to an announcement by Hon. W. H. Sutherland,' minister of public works. "Projects in the new road-building program," said Mr. Sutherland, "include "in-clude a main automobile highway connecting con-necting British Columbia with Jasper National park in the Canadian Rockies, Rock-ies, a motor road from Vancouver to Prince Rupert, a new highway through the coast mountains from the Chil-coten Chil-coten country to Bella Coola and a road following the course of the Columbia Co-lumbia river. |
