Show Pilfers Automobile Then Mas Accident It isn't often that a motor car owner suffers losses when he places his machine for washing. But this is what happened to W. O. Cluff, salesmanager for the Telluride Power company Friday of Jast week, and only for the fact that the owner carried car-ried theft insurance, Cluff would be $300 out. Mr. Cluff came up from Richfield Friday . and was solici'ted by Quinten Bouvang, an irresponsible person, for a job of car washing. The job was given to Bouvang, but with implicit instructions to leave the car on the wash rack, and by all means to not take it away, Cluff giving instructions instruc-tions that he would, get the car himself. him-self. Time passed and soon alvices came that the new Buick was laying along the highway leading to the depot. de-pot. A wrecking crew was sent ti the scene of the wreck and the cai was towed to a garage. Fenders, top windshield, a bent axel and othei damage resulted. A complaint of theft has.' beer sworn to by Cluff against Bouvanf and it is stated that papers will b served some 'time this week. Fortun atcly Cluff carried theft and acciden' insurance. The machine was taker to Salt Lake for repairs. |
