Show .-! I AXTELL NEWS ITEMS Will Nielsen, who is employed at the mines at Dividend, spent Sunday visiting his family. Ferre Sorenson visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Sorenson, before be-fore leaving for Bingham canyon for the summer. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Q. Whitlockj 'returned 're-turned last Thursday from a combined com-bined business and pleasure trip to Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Truman Sorenson are receiving congratulations over the arrival ar-rival of a baby boy at their home on March 3. Mrs. Sorenson and baby are getting along nicely. Mr. and Mrs. Quince Crawford of Salt Lake were Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Lehi Olson. Mr. and Mrs. Iver Iverson of Eph-riam Eph-riam and Mr. and Mrs. N. J. Alex Nielsen of Manti were Sunday visitors at the Ruel Nielsen home. Sunday night the Centerfield M. I. A. gave a very interesting program here. The Axtell M. I. A. were Clarion visitors. Mayor Parley Christiansen of Gunnison Gun-nison was a business visitor at Axtell Ax-tell Monday. Miss Bertie Johnson, who has been visiting her sister, Mrs. Eugene Bjer-regaard, Bjer-regaard, returned to Ephriam Monday. Mon-day. Harry Wilson and family of Ephriam Eph-riam have moved to Axtell for the summer and are farming the Doke-Lund. Doke-Lund. farm. Geo. Morley was called to Bingham canyon last Saturday on account of his son, Lloyd Morley, being sick at the Bingham hospital. Mr. Morley found his son much improved and stated that Lloyd would soon be able to leave the hospital. Warren Ireland, also of Axtell, is confined in the Bingham hospital. Newel Morley came in from Bingham Bing-ham canyon Sunday. He expects to spend the summer here. Thursday, March 18, under the ; direction of the Relief society, a ba-! ba-! zaar will be held at the Axtell school i house. Here's where you will get your j money's worth, so be sure to be here promptly at 4 o'clock to get a chance at the first sales. 'Member that noted play put on at Axtell last year by the R. S.? Well, again on March 19 you want to buy a , reserved seat for the next show. "Down In Dixie" will be staged here ! Friday night, March 19. Curtain 'oils promptlv at 8 o'clock. There will be some clever parts between acts, so you'll surely get your money's worth. The play is being put on under un-der the direction of the R. S., so you will not only enjoy yourself but help a worthy cause. Everybody in the valley is going, so just follow the crowd to see a good show at Axtell, March 19. |
