Show FORMER RESIDENT DIES James Robins, for years a prominent promi-nent resident of Gunnison, and widely wide-ly known throughout Southern Utah, died at his home at Spokane, Wash., last December, according to advices received here. Mr. Robins left Gunnison Gun-nison some twenty-five years ago, but he will be remembered by many of the older residents as one . of the progressive business men. He came to Gunnison in 1878 and was active in upbuilding the city. He was engaged en-gaged in building and is credited with 1 erecting the first store building on Main street. Later be embarked in the livestock and mercantile business and followed these vocations until he decided to locate at Portland. Mr. j Robins is survived by a wife and three children. He was a brother to i Mrs. H.' A. Kearns of this city. I . |
