Show BADLY HURT IN FALL M. D. Beauregard, the insurance man, would not advise his friends to chase an obstreperous and an unwilling unwil-ling cow after the sun had settled' low and caused absolute darkness. ! Mr. Beauregard did this, and as a ' result he is at his home nursing a j painful injury, his tongue having been badly gashed. Beauregard was doing his evening chores and it was j late. When the milking period arrived ar-rived the cow was sought, and finally final-ly located in the darkness. In his endeavors to drive the cow to the barn the animal became "frisky" and gave its owner a chase. While trailing trail-ing the animal Beauregard stumbled over a large rock and was thrown violently vi-olently to the ground, with the result that his teeth came suddenly together, togeth-er, cutting the tongue badly. ' Medical Med-ical attention was given, but Mr. Beauregard was unable to use his talking apparatus with ease for several sev-eral days. |
