Show I CENTERFIELD ! i NEWS ITEMS I -1 1- Mr. and Mrs. II. K. Hanson and Miss Blanche Christiansen, have returned re-turned from a short vacation (tip. During their absence they visited in Utah and Idaho cities and attended the big celebration at Springville on the 21th. Mr. and Mrs.. C. Dewey Lund are back from an extended visit to Salt Lake. Mr. Lund finished a six weeks course at the University summer school. Mr. and Mrs. Hart Sanders, who spent the 21th with friends and . datives da-tives at Salt Lake, returned home on Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. C. II. Embley, Mrs. Dcllie Anderson, Carl Poulson and Miss Lucile Embley, motored to Eph-iriam Eph-iriam last Saturday 'and wore the guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Willardson. Miss Minerva Jensen has returned from Logan where she was a stud it at the summer school. She will e-main e-main here with her mother until t'le 5 fall term of school opens, f W. K. Jensen who was the guest at the home of his parents for several sev-eral days, has returned to his hon. ! at Salt Lake. "Habit and Discipline" was the sub jc ct used by Jo.-cph Christensen before be-fore the parents class Sunday. Mr. Cln isl.ensen gave a splendid lecture and was warmly received. Miss Wanda Tollestrup, daughter of J'rof. A. N. Tollestrup, is here visiting with her many former friends and acquaintances. Miss Tollestrup formerly resided in the Gunnison Valley, but is a resident of Cedar City. ' Mr. and Mrs. Chris Thompson have i re! ji-ned to their home in Tremonton ! after a pleasant visit with relatives I in Centerfield. J T":ie members of the Centerfield relief society, with well filled baskets, bas-kets, invaded the home of Mrs. Brown Tuesday afternoon of this week. An enjoyable time was had and the honor hon-or guest was delightfully pleased. M,s. Brown is among the oldest la-dir la-dir .s in the valley. |
