Show -I !- I CENTERFIELD Quite a number of Centerfiel people peo-ple are planning to attend the big Mutual conference celebration which is to be held at Salt Lake during the coming week. Decoration day was observed at Centerfield last Saturday. The post office, bank, and the stores were all closed. In the morning appropriate services were held. James H. Christensen, who is employed em-ployed at Salt Lake City arrived last Friday night to visit with his family. fam-ily. He returned north Sunday evening. even-ing. Mr. and Mrs. D. R. Goates spent last Sunday . visiting 'with relatives at Lehi. Mr, &nd Mrs. A. L. Lathem of Salt Lake, and who spent several days here visiting with Mrs. Letham's parents, have gone to Park City, where they will make their perman- i ent home. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Sheffield spent the week end at the) home of j Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Beck, parents of Mrs. Sheffield. The visitors returned return-ed to their home Monday morning and were accompanied by Mrs. Beck and daughter, Miss Grace Beck. The 'atter will spend several days visiting visit-ing the Sheffield home. Peter Anderson and family of Delta, Del-ta, and Mrs. Annie Larson and her daughter, Mrs. A. B. Stone of Provo, are visiting at the home of Mrs. Nic-hol Nic-hol Christensen last Sunday. Mrs. ; Stone will remain here several days visiting at the home of Mrs. Christensen. Chris-tensen. . Miss Lillian Jensen of Axtell, and who recently returned from the California Cal-ifornia mission field, was the principal princi-pal speaker at the Sunday night meeting at Centerfield. Albert E. Poulson and family, Miss ! Lavona Beck and Lloyd Fosgreen and ! family, motored to Brigham city to spend Memorial day and visit with relatives. |
