Show LADIES' CORNER. ! A review called the Enemy of Woman is to be started in Vienna, Ilerr Grose, the editor, believing it to be his mission to redeem man from the thraldom of the tyrannical tyranni-cal sex. Dr. Mary Walker isn't bothering bother-ing about the rein trod uction of crinoline. She will quietly persevere per-severe in her Prince Albert coat, dark trousers, button shoes, silk hat, and brown military cape, which is her de rigueur. We understand that many of the ladies of Willard. also, are becoming becom-ing quite strong believers in and zealous advocates of woman's suffrage. We believe the day is not far distant when they will be accorded equal privileges in this Territory with man. Our firm opinion is that a woman doing man's work should receive a man's wages, and if a woman can be taxed she should also demand and receive proper representation in governmental govern-mental affairs. |
