Lund, left for Salt Lake Tuesday and she expects to be absent several weeks visiting with relaties and friends. v Mrs. Ezra Nielson and children, who spent the week visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ludvigson, left for their home at Springville on Sunday morning-. Stephen Winter, representing the Premier Duplex Vacuum Cleaning company, with headquarters at Salt Lake, spent several days here this week in the interests of his company. W. O. Cluff, salesmanager for the Telluride Power company, was here from Richfield Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. Members of the O. N. O. club were guests at the home of Mrs. J. W. Jones Thursday afternoon of last week . Progressive games proved the interesting diversion and in the contests honors were won by Mrs. Edd. Jensen, Mrs. B. A. Madsen and Mrs. J. A. Hagan. Dainty refreshments re-freshments were served at five o'clock . Mrs. Hart J. Sanders and daughter, daugh-ter, Evelyn Joyce Sanders, left for Salt Lake yesterday. They will be absent until Sunday as the guests of friends . Mr. and Mrs. Niel Sorenson and the Misses Eelva and Marjorie Sorenson, Sor-enson, have returned from a brief visit to friends at Salt Lake. Dr. - S. S. Kunz, the Gunnison dentist, motored to Ogden Saturday, returning Sunday evening. He was called to the Junction city on important import-ant business matters. C. M. Edwards, republican candidate candi-date for county attorney, accompanied accompa-nied by Mrs. Edwards, left for Salt Lake yesterday morning. Mr. Edwards Ed-wards was called to the city on important im-portant business matters and expects to return to Gunnison today. LOCAL ITEMS OF INTEREST Mrs. George Peterson of Center-field Center-field was the charming hostess at a birthday anniversary dinner party at her home ast Sunday afternoon. During the early hours of the gath-eiing gath-eiing a social time was enjoyed and at four o'clock a splendid chicken dinner was served to. the seventy guests present. Mrs. Petersen was the recipient of many beautiful presents pres-ents as a remembrance of" the occasion. |
