Show Eldon Broadhead Has Back Broken Eldon Broadhead, well known Iwr, md who had been working at thf mines at Standardville, sustained a Sroken back last Saturday after-noon when he was a victim of a huge tvCk which fell from the roof of the t-in-nel. In addition to the broken back Eldon received several ugly wovds in the head and was otherwise injured. in-jured. He was rushed to the hospital hos-pital at Salt Lake and Monday nn operation, consisting of the removnl of two pieces of the spinal column, was performed. The patient is in a critical condition and the chances of ;omplete recovery are strongly igainst him. Eldon, according to reports, was working in a tunnel in one of the mines in the Standardville district and was loading a car. In some manner a rock weirhing Reveral hundred hun-dred pounds was loosened from its moorings and crashed down striking Broadhead, crumpling him like n iack-knie.
