CENTERFIELD Miss Margaret Tassie, who has been visiting with friends at Salt Lake, was stricken with acute appendicitis appen-dicitis Tuesday and Wednesday she underwent an operation. Late reports are to the effect that she is progressing progress-ing nicely and if no complications arise she will be able to leave the hospital hos-pital within a week or two. When word was received here of his daughter, daugh-ter, being stricken James Tassie left for the city at once. He was accompanied ac-companied by Mrs. S. P. Jensen. Mr. and Mrs. Chas. E. Embley and Chas. H. Embley, who have been enjoying en-joying a vacation, returned Tuesday from a trip to northern cities. They visited Logan, Ogden, Salt Lake, Provo and other cities while away. Mrs. Niels Larson has returned from a month's visit with relatives at Tremonton. She was accompanied by Mrs. Chris Thompson and the latter will be the guest at the Alfred Fjcld-j Fjcld-j sted home for two weeks. |
