Show Mayfield Doings. (Special Correspondence.) Mayfield, May 4 Miss Ruth Wintch of Manti, spent the latter part of last week visiting with Miss Marva Anderson and other friends in Mayfield. Mr. and Mrsr-Odean Anderson are rejoicing over the arrival of a 12-pound 12-pound baby boy at their home. Both mother and child are doing nicely. Mrs. L. D. Larson entertained the Social Circle club members at her home last Wedntsday afternoon. Music and needlecraft were enjoyed during the afternoon and at four thirty delicious refreshments were served. Mr. and Mrs. I. A. Beal of Manti. accompanied by Niel Jensen, spent last Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. P. H. Scow of this city. Rulon Whitlock left the early part of the week for Marysvale where he expects, to remain during the coming summer. Rulon Swallow left for Nevada j last week. He expects to remain in the sage brush state the major part of the summer. Mrs. Sarah Anne Jensen, who has I been absent the past winter in Emery county, has returned here and will remain during the summer months, i The primary officers and the children enjoyed May nay Monday ! afternoon on a trip to the hills west i of town. i Mrs. Clarence Peterson of Gunnison Gunni-son has returned to her home after a week's visit with her parents here. i |
