Show Centerfield Has Disastrous Blaze Fire broke out in the rear part of the annex to the opera house Saturday Sat-urday morning about 2:30 and destroyed de-stroyed the confectionary, pool hall, rber shop and residence apart-: apart-: . ients, but little damage was done to ithe opera house other than in clearing out for fear of fire entering, enter-ing, some of the furnishings were damaged. Petex Georgtetis, the proprietor, was in Salt Lake at the time, purchasing pur-chasing stock for the same, and had left Calden Hone in charge of the confectionary during his absence, and who had locked up and gone to his home at 11:30 on Friday night, .so the cause of the fire is not known. The building belongs to Mrs. Ed. Jones, and she estimates the damage dam-age at $3,0 0 0, with no insurance. Gorgidis had ?1000 insurance on his stock. Mrs. Ed. Jones, accompanied by her son, Leo Ockerman, who now resides re-sides in Garfield, arrived here on Sunday morning to look over the sit- nation and made further arrangements arrange-ments with Peter to go on with the management of the opera house. She was also met here Sunday morning by her daughter. Mrs. Alta Ocker--ii an West of Richfield, who returned the same day, Mrs. Jones returning today. Chas. E. Embley and family motored mo-tored to Springville last Saturday to visit with his wife's relatives and friends. His mother, Mrs. C. H. Embley, Em-bley, accompanied them to Nephi to isit her sister, Mrs. M. T. Jennings. They returned Sunday night. Andreas Jensen and Fred Petersen Peter-sen run too close to each other with their cars the other night and incurred in-curred a cost of nearly $200 for repairing, re-pairing, but luckily no one was seri- ' cu-.-Iy hurt. !
