Show day evening. Refreshments of ice cream and cake wove served. A goodly number of Fayette citizens citi-zens attended the minstrel staged by 0:e Gunnison Glee club at the Gunnison Gun-nison high school last Monday night. -:- FAYETTE -:- -:- NEWS NOTES -:- Fayette, June 15. Farmers and beet growers are busy these days cutting hay and thinning beets. The prospects for good crops this year are highly encouraging. Mrs. Peck of Provo is visiting with her daughter, Mrs. John Bown, at the latter's home in Fayette. Elgin Mellor, Joseph Olson and Will Bartholomew motored to Goshen last week on a combined business and pleasure trip. Clayton Peterson of Ephraim was a Sunday visitor to Fayette. lie was the guest of friends. Mrs. Joseph Olsen and children spent part of last week visiting with friends at Ephraim. Arthur Larson and Mr. and Mrs. John Metcalf of the Stake Board visited the Fayette Sunday school last Sunday. Erick Olsen, more familiarly known as "Grandpa," is confined to j his home suffering from a severe attack of rheumatism.
