The concern will have in stock a full line of burial material and a fine automobile au-tomobile hearse. The undertaker in charge, is an expert embalmer and has had twenty-five years' experience in the undertaker business. They plan to do a county business. The new concern, which will operate oper-ate under the firm name of Wallace-Livingston, Wallace-Livingston, undertakers, is headed by N. A. Wallace, native of Salt Lake but now of Eureka, and our fellow townsman, A. D. Livingston. Mr. Wallace, who was born in Salt Lake and is a product of pioneer stock is an expert licensed embalmer embalm-er and has had twenty-five years' experience ex-perience in the undertaker business. He is a graduate of the Western College of Embalming of Iowa City and also holds a certificate from the Barns School of Embalming of Chicago. Chi-cago. He will be absent several days looking after important legal matters at the state capitol. The hour for holding the regular Sunday Sun-day school services at the Presbyterian chapel has been changed from 10:30 in the morning to 2:30 in the afternoon. Harold Halverson, assistant cashier of the Gnnnison City ' National Bank, has gone to Salt Lake. He will be absent a week or ten days on a vacation vaca-tion trip. Mrs. Ellen Hofheins, now a regular auto driver, motored to American Fork last Sunday and spent the holiday with relatives. She returned to Gunnison early Tuesday morning. Fred Metcalf, one of the prominent business men of Bingham and well and favorable known in Gunnison, accompanied accom-panied by his wife, spent Monday and Tuesday of this week visiting with friends and relatives here. Dr. Nelson Beal, who has been absent for ten days or more attending a convention of the state dentists at Salt Lake, returnod home the fore part of the week. He was accompanied by Mrs. Beal who had been visiting relatives rela-tives at Ephraim. Ole Peterson, who with his family has been living in Salt Lake for the past month or' more, was here the early days of the week looking after business busi-ness matters and visiting with friends. Mr. Peterson announces that he will shortly return to Gunnison and take up his permanent residence. Chris Jensen, and son, Ralph, have returned from an extended visit to Idalw cities. MissXJesois Peterson left for Salt Lake Wednesday morning. She will be absent a week or more on a vacation trip. Miss Clara Nielson of Marysvale, is here and will be the guest at the home of Mr. and Mrs L. Ludvigson for two weeks or more. The big game of the season at the Gunnison ball park Saturday afternoon. Be a real booster and be there and yell for the Kings. Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Porter, and the Forter boys of Richfield, spent the early days of . this week in Gunnison visiting with friends. Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Parr, and LeRoy Parr, spent the Fourth of July with friends at Murry and Salt Lake. They went to the city Sunday, returning Tuesday evening. Royal and Clyde Buchanan, who have been absent from Gunnison for the past six weeks, returned home last Saturday. Satur-day. During their absence they visited many parts of Idaho and Montana. Misses Jessie and Ruth Larson, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. John Larson, former residents of Gunnison, were here on the Fourth from Shit Lake as the guests of friends and relatives. Ernest Halverson, the insurance man, left for Provo the first of the week. He will join his wife and family at the Garden City and go to the famous Provo canyon for a short outing. Mr. and Mrs. Halverson expect to return to Gnnnison the latter part of July. Saturday is one day of the year that you will have to be a Teal booster for Gunnison. Monroe, leading in the club standing for honors, will be here and it is necessary that the Kings win to make the teams a tie. Be there and shout long.hard and fast for the Kings. |
