In addition to routing the main throroughfare north, a deal was consummated yestrday by the city whereby the Jepson property at the north end of Main street was closed and immediate steps will be taken to straighten the street at that point. The closing of this transaction, pending for some time, will be greeted by all citizens citi-zens and the city administration are to be commended for the timely action. With the right-of-way through the Swalberg, Kearns, Bastian farms on the north bench and with the assurance of the government aid in establishing a splendid highway through the new part of the city, Gunnison takes another step towards advancement. The sentiment among the citizens and the club members is strongly expressed ex-pressed for the new routing and with its completion this city will not only be benefitted by a good road, but the appearance and all, will add wealth and beauty.
