Show Auto Camp Ground In Heart of City Hail to the tourist and auto travelers! trav-elers! Gunnison now boasts of one of the best equipped, most convenient conveni-ent and handy camp grounds of any city or town in Southern Utah. Plenty of shade, water, easy access to the stores, an up-to-date kitchen where the traveler can cook his provisions pro-visions if he so chooses, a rest room for ladies and gentlement, a lavatory and in fact all the conveniences, and good ones, that the most particular would care for. The new camp ground has been established just east of the service station owned by S. M. Duggins and no effort has been spared to make the place an attractive one. Not only are all the comforts embodied in the new camp ground, but being located in the heart of the city, am. pie police protection is afforded and there can be no danger of molesta- tion by "petty" thieves. The grounds have been set aside by Mr. Duggins f and all of the conveniences have been provided by him, excepting the wat. er, fuel and light. The city, cooperating co-operating with Mr. Duggins, will furnish the tourists an ample supply sup-ply of fuel for cooking, electric lights will be hung at convenient places and there will be all the water needed and all of this free to automobile auto-mobile travelers. In the parking space ample room for some ten or twelve cars, has been provided for and with the large range in the kitchen kit-chen and other convenient necessities, necessi-ties, nothing can be more attractive to the tired tourist who wants real rest and comfort after a day's journey. jour-ney. The old camp ground established at the city lot in the southern part of the city will be abandoned. The toilets and lights and other improvements improve-ments will be removed and the lot used for some other purpose. |
