Show High School Notes By Alice Pierce. The junior program ,. Thursday turned out rather well. The program committee was disappointed in most 'ot fhe parts at the last minute. But he juniors are real "minute men" and an enjoyable program was the result of a few minutes' "rustling." The first number was a reading by Vera Bown; the second number, a song by Gladys Gribble with cello accompaniment ac-companiment by Elrey Christiansen; he third number, a story by Alice Pierce. The members of the "Nameless Male quartet" were misquoted last week. Therus Sorensen was left unmen-tioned unmen-tioned while Kearns Ferre received fcndue honors. The author of the I mistake wishes it rectified. I The high school has just received two new L. C. Smith typewriters. 'This will greatly increase the efficiency effi-ciency of the typewriting department. j The high school made a holiday of i half of Washington's birthday. Don't think we are ungrateful; we count ourselves lucky. School on Saturday proceeds with as much smoothness as Is possible for Saturday. Is it Friday or Saturday that can't help it's bad luck? |
