Show Canal Company Will Reincorporate At a special meeting of the stockholders stock-holders of the Fayette Canal company, com-pany, held at Fayette lasi Monday, it , was voted to reincorporate the com-, com-, pany and slightly increase the capital stock ot the organization. The name of the company was also changed and hereafter it will be known as the Gunnison-Fayette Canal company. New officers and directors were also chosen at the. Monday meeting and the roster selected is as follows: President, Archie M. Mellor; secretary, secre-tary, A. M. Christcnsen; treasurer, E. J. Mellor; the officers, together with Howard Roberts and James Bown. will constitute the board of directors. di-rectors. Under the old incorporation, the Fayette Canal company was capital-' ued tor 4.CS0 shares. The amount! lias been increased to 5,000, having a par value of $10 per share. The ; new articles are now being prepared j and will be ready for acceptance i by the first of the coming month, j when the lite of the old organization ends. All of the stock represented at Monday's meeting voted to pass a joint resolution to deed as individuals, individ-uals, their stock in the old organiza-. organiza-. Con. to the new company.
