Show Mayfield Doings. (Special Correspondence.) Mayfield, Dec. 1 . A club of young men has been organized in Mayfield. All young men not married and who do not attend any school are eligible for membership to the club. Officers Offic-ers have been chosen as follows: presiden.t Kllors Bunderson; vice-president, vice-president, Orlln Hansen; secretary-treasurer. secretary-treasurer. Alma Whitlock. The organizers or-ganizers of the club belive that a 'dub is necessary for furnishing amusements, am-usements, recreation and mutual advancement ad-vancement to the young men of May-field. May-field. The Bee Hive girls met at the home of Miss Gladys Anderson last Tin s day evening. A delightful time was j spent in making candy. The candy was presented by the teachers, Dora Anderson and Sarah Faatz, to Pearl Hansen and Lilace Christensen. The Lincoln public schools of May-fitld, May-fitld, entertained Wednesday evening of last week with a Thanksgiving program. An evening of music and a j real good time was enjoyed by those j present. Mr. and Mrs. p. s. Beat and children chil-dren are visiting here with Mr. and Mrs. Scow. They will remain for several sev-eral weeks. The Primary organization enter-j j tallied on Thanksgiving evening. A dance was given and the proceeds went to aid the Primary organization. 1 Miss Helen Christiansen returned to her home here Monday evening. 1 She had been visiting friends at Manti Man-ti for several days. Miss Lillian Jacobsen is visiting ! with friends and relatives in May-' May-' field. |
