Show Splendid Musical Offered Gunnison Unusual novelty and genuine artistic ar-tistic excellence are delightfully united in the program of the Artists Art-ists Trio company which appears as the third number of the Gunnison lyceum course at Peterson hall next Wednesday evening at 7:30. While the Artists' Trio will be of the lighter form of amusement, it is none the less entertaining. The three members mem-bers comprising the company are excellent ex-cellent performers and the music will certainly appeal to the Gunnison audiences. aud-iences. . In addition to the classical music, Vera MacKelvie, noted cartoonist, will amuse. This cartoonist studied at the Chicago Art Institute and' is widely known for her excellent draftsmanship. This, combined with a striking personality and a. fine singing voice, insures a pleasant evening. eve-ning. Her pictures have a purpose as well as humor and she. draws with both hands with equal facility. Corinne Jessop is a charming singer sing-er and, combining her singing with her clever readings, she always pleases her hearers. She is known not only for her work on the platform plat-form but also for her personality, which is sweet and wholesome. Vivian Graves, the contralto, has a voice of great range and power, combined with an artistic and most sympathetic presentation of songs whether arias or heart songs. From an amusement and pleasing standpoint and for a real evening's enjoyment, the Artists' Trio offer one of the best on the Gunnison lyceum course. |
