Show Juvenile Officer After Delinquents Judge A. G'. Nielson of the juvenile juve-nile court of the Sanpete-Sevier division di-vision was in the county Friday and Saturday, holding court in Glenwood, Annabella and Elsinore. At Glenwood six boys were brought into the court on complaint of Marshal Mar-shal Bell, charging them with using us-ing tobacco. Because of this being the second offense by three of the boys the judge imposed a fine of $5.00 on each of the three. The remaining re-maining three were fined each S2.50. they were all given thirty days from the closing of school in which to earn the fine money. One young man was fined $5.00 for unlawful fishing. At Annabella two boys were fined ?5.00 each for drinking hard cider. They divulged to the court the name of the man from whom the hard cider had been purchased. As Sheriff Sher-iff Fillmore and a federal man were p.esent, the judge referred the case of the adult to them. At Elsinore a young man was tried on complaint of P. C. Willardsen. charging him with stealing a sheep pelt. The young man pleaded guilty, guil-ty, was fined $5.00 and instructed to make the matter morally right with Mr. "Willardsen. Thig same young man was chargedw'$h drink-ink drink-ink liquor and breaking window in the Hansen Mercantile institution. The boy stoutly denied Vdrinking but promised to pay for the window damage. da-mage. Ee gave to the court and the sheriff some valuable information regarding re-garding the sale of moonshine. A boy from Elsinore will be returned re-turned to the industrial school, hav ing been tried for burglary. Judge Nielson left Sunday for Gunnison to hold court there Monday Mon-day Righfield Reaper. |
