Show The announcement of the arrival of a 6 3-4 pound baby girl at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Fine at Eureka, Nevada, has been received at the News office. Mrs. Fine was formerly of Gunnison and her many friends will be pleased to know that both she and her baby are getting along splendidly. Ronald Norman of the J. C. Penney Pen-ney company paid a brief visit to his parents at Richfield Tuesday of this week, and yesterday morning he left for Hurley, S. D., his old home town. He will be absent a month or six weeks visiting with friends and relatives rela-tives in the northwest. 'Local and Personal Mrs. J. H. Mace has returned from a brief visit to her mother at Salt Lake. Madsen motored to Salt Lake last Sunday where they spent the early days of the week combining business with pleasure. Mr. and Mrs. L. Ludvigsen were among the travelers to Fish Lake Wednesday of this week. They will be absent at the famous fishing resort re-sort for - some time spending their vacation. Hans Tuft, the Monroe-Richfield banker and stockman, accompanied by Mrs. Tuft, was here for a few hours last week enroute home. Mr. Tuft was just returning from a visit to the Uintah basin. Mrs. Fitzgerald Thomas, who ha-been ha-been the guest of her sister, Mrs. J. W. Jones, for several davs. returned to her home in Salt Lake last Thursday. Thurs-day. She was accompanied by Mrs. Jones and the latter will be absent a week or more visiting with relatives rela-tives in the city. J. B. Walker, agricultural superintendent super-intendent for the Gunnison Valley Sugar factory, returned from a short visit to Salt Lake last Monday evening. even-ing. Dr. and Mrs. J. A. Hagan and the Hagan children have returned after an absence of six weeks. They were visiting in the east, spending most of the time at the home of Mr. Ha-gan's Ha-gan's parents at New Comers Town, in Ohio. On their return trip they visited Chicago, St. Louis, Kansas City and Omaha. |
