Show ENJOYING HEALTH IN FAR OFF SIBERIA Mina Beauregard, one of the Gunnison Gun-nison boys who enlisted in the army service a little more than two years ago, is still located at Vladivostok. Siberia. Writing to his mother, he says that while it doesn't "seem near so long as that, insofar as the work in the service is concerned, it seems much longer when his thoughts revert re-vert to home and Gunnison. Mina is longing for the time when he will be among those who are to sail for the good old U. S. A. Already he has one service stripe and if he remains in the service until un-til the 18th of the coming September Septem-ber he will have acquired another stripe. The climatic conditions in Siberia, according to Mina, are somewhat some-what different than what they have been in Utah for the past month. In the far-off country, heating stoves are in use and they are most comfortable. com-fortable. For some time, according to the letter, there has been much rain and fog and the weather has been very cold and disagreeable. The Gunnison boy is enjoying the best of health and he is anxiously looking forward when he can be at home and at Gunnison. |
