Show "SHEPHERD OF THE HILLS." Amid the awe-inspiring hills and woodlands of the Ozark mountains, the simple tale of back woods life as depicted in the popular novel, "The Shepherd of the Hills," by Harold Bell Wright, has found favor on the screen as a photoplay of the highest class. The story of the play, which unfolds on the screen in a logical order, or-der, needs no staging, the majority of the scenes being laid in the great open. Splendid character study is developed in the cast, The screen version will prove more popular than any stage production of "The Shepherd Shep-herd of the Hills" which has yet been tried, because of the scope of the camera and the ability of the scenario writer to make a detailed account of the story life in the minds of the audience. The film is in 10 reels and has a special musical score and will be shown at the Casino Monday Mon-day and Tuesday nights, September 29 and 30. |
