Show Formal Opening State Capitol Oct, 9th TO THE PUBLIC; J The new State Capitol will b formally opened on Monda, October 9, 1916, and the Capitol Commission takes this means of extending a ruoejj cordial invitation to all the people of the State to attend and participate in the ceremonies inpjdent tq th.o occasion. It is the desire of the Comvuibsion that the people of Utah have an op.-portunity op.-portunity to inspect the building un-der un-der the most favorable circumstances, and for that reason they have arranged arrang-ed that the capitol be thrown open during the afternoon and eveuing of that day. Commencing at 2 o'clock in the afternoon an appropriate pro.-gram pro.-gram of speeches and music will be rendered and in the evening, at 8 o'clock a public reception will be held in the state reception room, The date for the opening has been fixed with due regard to the convenience conve-nience of out of town people and has been set for a time when the people of the state can take advantage advan-tage of the State Fair and Conference rates. No formal invitations will he issued is-sued but this general Invitation is extended in the hope that the people qf the State will Join in the celebrar tifon of the completion of their new home.
