Show Darrell brought with him Mrs. Lela Christensen Childs, whom he married mar-ried Wednesday evening, July 30. Mr. and Mrs. Childs expect to make their home in Gunnison valley, the most prosperous in Utah. The newly-weds have the best wishes of a host of friends. CENTERFIELD ITEMS ". The alfalfa crop is excellent and with the water supply holding out admirably, the outlook for the valley was never better. John S. Bardsley is elated over the arrival of another little helper on the farm. The young man gladdened glad-dened his home last Saturday evening. even-ing. All concerned are doing nicely. Mrs. George Fetterman of Alham-bra, Alham-bra, Calif., accompanied by her two children, is visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Childs. She expects ex-pects to return to the coast about the middle of this month. Miss Aroha Embley is visiting with relatives and friends at Greenville, Green-ville, in Beaver county, where she taught school last season. Charles Embley, in completing his visit to Axtell and Clarion, including includ-ing Centerfield, taking the school census, reports the enumeration practically the same as last year, the incoming about equals the outgoing. Messrs. England and Ammunsen have sold Riverside Ranch, formerly known as the Kearns ranch, to C. W. Hickenloper and W. S. Jones of Salt Lake. Mrs. C. H. Embley accompanied Darrell D. Childs on a trip over to Levan Tuesday of last week, on a visit to her sister, Mrs. T. M. Jennings, Jen-nings, and other friends. They returned re-turned home Monday evening and |
