Convitted of Kidnaping Millionaire Bellingham, Wash. After being out twenty hours, the jury at Mount Vernon Ver-non declared Leo Bezemer guilty of Kidnaping for the purpose of holding for ransom. On the evening of October Octo-ber 10, last, Bezemer held up Edward English, a millionaire logger, on the highway near Mount Vernon, Skagit county. The logger was rorced to drive into the woods, and was then ordered from his carriage at the point of a pistol and bound to a tree, after being coerced into writing an order lo his wife, to pay bearer $5.0i00. Before Mrs. English could secure the money, her husband escaped.
