K K K The Faette school distriot held two special elections on Weduesday of this week to vote upon raising means to build a new school house. A bond issua was held in the forenoon which was voted down. In the afternoon after-noon the question of a special tax was voted upon upon and like the lond was voted down. K h ' Articles of incorporation of the Gunnison Telephone company will be filed next week. About seventy phones have been subscribed, aad the system will be Installed as soon as possible. Christenson of this city has been given the contract for replacing the bridge acrrss Sanpitch river east of Christian burg, which was destroyed some time ago by lire.
