The Commissioners Commission-ers ordered a communication scut to tho Secretary of the I n tenor, requesting him to apply to the Attorney-Oeneral, usuing an ollicial opinion as to tho effect of the proclamation of President Harrison of February 17, LS93, upon the right of persons to register and vote who, previous thereto, were disfranchised under the Ed-muns Ed-muns act and the Edmuns-Tucker act. It is understood that the Commissioners are unanimously of the opinion that the right to vote is restored, but desire an ollicial opinion from the Attorney-General before taking any action. |
