Show THE NEW BILLS. SALT LAKE THEATRE No show the coming com-ing week. Next attraction the comedy "Seven Days," October 16th, 17th and 18th. COLONIAL THEATRE No attraction week of October 9th to 14th. Next attraction will be Ferris Ilartman, Walter De Leon and Miss Muggins Davies in a musical comedy of college life, "The Campus," by Walter De Leon. ORPHEUM For the bill beginning Sunday afternoon Jesse L. Lasky's "Pianopfiend minstrels" min-strels" with Ben Linn and Ila Grannon and a company of nine players are announced as the headline attraction. They will be followed fol-lowed by Carlson, the long magician; Karl Emmy and his pets presenting the comedy com-edy -"Isn't She Terrible," introducing Moodie, the Silvers of the canine world; Butler Havl-land Havl-land and Alice Thornton, comedian and ingenue, presenting "A Question of Policy"; a demonstration demonstra-tion of color photography, together with Mason and Murray in songs and chatter; and the current cur-rent events as shown by the moving pictures will complete the bill. GARRICK THEATRE Theodore Burt Sayre's drama of western army life entitled, "The Commanding Com-manding Officer," will run at the Garrick Mon-' Mon-' day evening next for a week's run in the hands of the Garrick players. The play has never been seen here before and is said to rank well with the best of plays whose stories are similar In theme. The play-wright, however, claims a good deal of originality for scenes and situations in "The Commanding Officer" and some very elaborate elab-orate stage settings are required to produce the play. The matinee performances will be given Thursday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons. |
