Show H As To Canada OP THE election in Canada, Mr. Borden, who is to be the. next premier of Canada, says: M "Canada has wisely determined that for her M there shall be no parting of the ways, but that m she -will continue in the old path of Canadian M unity, Canadian- nation nood and British connec- M To that all sensible people on ths side of the M line say "Amen"; but still there are some ob- M stacles in the way. Some thousands of Canad- ions come over the line and settle in the United M States every year. Most of them are prosperous, H very many of them are exceedingly prosperous. M Most of them could not be driven back with a H club. Rather a great many of them send back M to Canada for old time sweethearts, marry them m and now half a million grandmothers feel the M little hands of grandchildren on this side of the M line, tugging at their apron strings to draw tlrem H this way.
