Show George II. Robinson. The death of George H. Robinson brings a great weight of sorrow to Salt Lake City. He had a great host of friends here; he was a most loveable man. At the head of his profession as a mining engineer, he was entirely competent in every department of mining and reducing ore. He was moreover quite as competent in the handling of the business department. He was on the road to a great fortune. He was commanding more and more respect and affection daily, when his health broke down. For two years past his life has been slipping away, and though from time to time it has been believed that he was about to rally, those hopes were never realized. He goes amid the tens of thousands to an honored grave. God rest his soul and carry comfort to his stricken strick-en loved ones. |
