Show POPULAR RESORT. Many and pretty have been the parties the past two weeks or more at the cool, picturesque resort recently opened at the mouthpf Emigration Emigra-tion Canyon. The rustic Inn has become the mecca for any number of motor car parties theso hot nights. It may not be generally known, perhaps, that one can secure almost anything to eat and drink at the Inn at practically any hour. The buffet lunches are especially inviting, and are becoming very popular with town folk. Sunday mornings invariably see from two to half a dozen riding parties at the Inn, enjoying the cool breeze that comes boding dowii the canyon, and lunching prior to a ride farther up the canyon or back to town. The management of the resort is fulfilling its promise of making the place everybody's country club, in more ways than one. Work on the tennis courts is being (pushed with all possible speed. The car service from the Mount Olivet station is very satisfactory , at present, and the ride to the mouth of the I canyon is delightful. i Motor and riding parties have found that by i telephoning the steward at the Inn before their I departure from town they secure just what they I want to eat and drink with exceptional prompt- ness. The service at the Inn is above the average. I The parties that have been given at the dancing I pavilion of the resort and at the Inn have all 1 proven decidedly successful, and the place is 4 likely to spring into very great popularity before I tho season is over. |
