Show JESSEN. The death of Mr. Jessen and his assistant, Mr. Allred, by accidental electrocution on Thursday was one of the most fearful accidents of the year. Mr. Jessen was a most brilliant engineer, an accomplished ac-complished scholar, a most estimable citizen. He was sorely needed by his family, his death is a great loss to the community, an overwhelming blow to his widow and children. For a score of years he has been a most valued man to this city and state; he was all in all to his home. May God's mercy and peace be drawn arcund that family and home, and may heaven send a comfort to it which earth cannot give. He was a true and high-minded man in every walk of life; his death is a great public sorrow, while to his wife and children it comes iike a final eclipse of the sun and stars. |
