A luncheon was the special attraction, with E v 1 1 the appointments as beautiful as is usual at Mrs. W !! Walker's affairs. The Walker-Stewart wedding takes place to-eight to-eight at the home of the bride, the Rev. Dr. Pinkerton officiating. The coremony will be witnessed wit-nessed by the family and intimate friends, after which a large reception will be given. Mrs. Walter Lewis of Butte and Mrs. F. F.. Tarbet has issued invitations for a luncheon at the Commercial Club next Thursday. Mrs. D. S. Fulop entertained about sixty ladies on Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Charles Clifton Slade will entertain at cards at her home next Wednesday afternoon and also on Monday, Nov. 2nd. There will be a Hallowe'en party at Rowland Hall. Mrs. Thomas B. Pinkerton has returned from the East. Miss Katherine Geddes will leave for Denver shortly, and upon her return Miss Dillingham will accompany her. Major and Mrs. M. A. Breeden are at home at G27 East First South. Mrs. George P. Holman has returned. Mrs. Alfred De Camp of New Jersey will arrive here next week to be the guest of her mother, Mrs. Ledyard Bailey. A. W. Copp has returned from Chicago. Mrs. T. R. Black has gone East for a visit of several weeks. Mrs. A. C. Smith and Miss Nellie Street have gone to Kansas City to be the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Duncan. Mrs. James A. Miner has gone to San Francisco. Fran-cisco. The announcement that Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Armstrong are to move to this city is pleasant news to their many friends. Miss Bannister of Ogden will spend today in the city. Miss Peery of Ogden will come to Salt Lake on Monday. Mrs. E. S. Ferry returns from Michigan next week. Mrs. S. V. Derrah and son have returned. Mr. and Mrs. Albert C. Allen leave for Las Angeles next week, and, owing to the health of Mrs. Allen, may remain there permanently. |
