In determining how to vote a good plan for voters would be to stop, and, considering the various candidates, ask themselves which among them they would select, if they had to make selection, se-lection, to carry on a progressive business in which they were stockholders; a business out of which they desired to have the best possible showing made; a business which Involved the successful handling by practical and accomplished men; the education of the children; the providing of a sufficient water supply for the stock; the seeing to the fences and the drainage; the keeping keep-ing of order among the tenantry; the keeping of the roads and bridges in repair that the crops might be economically moved; the employment of competent and honest men; the clearing up of the weeds and pruning the trees and the so handling of affairs that new stockholders would desire daily to come in and purchase shares in the syndicate. syn-dicate. If voters will do that there will be no doubt but the right men will be elected. |
