Show TO THINK ABOUT. A great many residents believe that with a proper impetus given this city, its population will double in the next two or three years. If that proves to be the case it ought not to be forgotten for-gotten that the newcomers will very likely take charge of affairs. It will be natural for them to lean on each other, work together and vote together to-gether and they will be very apt to have things their own way. With such a prospect every facility should be offered them to come. It would mean prosperity to present residents; it would double the taxable property of the city; it would mean that Salt Lake City had at last taken its rightful place and had struck its rightful pace among the cities of the country. Men should think of this before they vote. |
