Show If the Superintendent of the Street Railway company were compelled to ride over all the streets oi5 the city at full speed every day, we have a suspicion that when he got his head down from through the top of the car where he had been tossed he would make a memorandum that there are a few places on some of the lines that really ought to be repaired. He would also note that when there are three flat wheels on a car and the fourth is round, the round wheel breaks the rhythm of the car's clamors. Income of the cars, too, he might note that the spring house-cleaning house-cleaning for certain of the chariots has not yet been inaugurated. There is nothing like travel to expand the human mind. We commend more travel to the Superintendent, but he need not extend ex-tend the travel beyond his own street car tracks. |
