Show Disney Movie Scheduled TROPIC Another Walt Disney movie will be shown Saturday August 30 at 6 p.m. in the Tropic Ward cultural hall. " "Hot Lead, Cold Feet" starring Jim Dale, Don Knotts, Karen Valentine, and Darren McGavin will entertain young and old alike. Sponsored by Better Bryce Valley and Tropic Town, the proceeds from the film will go to sell the town park fund. The Disney comedy has Jim Dale playing an old geezer who fakes his own death and then sits back to watch his twin sons (also played by Dale) match wits and guns in their scramble to prove themselves the better man and rightful heir to his fortune. Its slapstick shenanigans as a Philadelphia preacher, Eli Bloodshy engages his twin brother Wild Billy in the race for the prize. Not unlike the good versus evil contest of the Great Race, "Hot Lead, Cold Feet" is a barrel of fun for all ages. Children under 12 can attend for 75 cents, students for $1.50, adults for $2, and a family ticket may be purchased for $7.50. Refreshments will be sold: popcorn, cotton candy, hot dogs, soda pop, super dill pickles and other goodies. |
