Show By Betty Wiley 624-3215 Many attended the sad memorial for Gary Gericke which was held at the Triple G Cemetery in Antimony. Five of his grandchildren were there as well as son Roy and daughter Donna and many other family and friends. For those who remember the three fishermen who used to stay at the trailer park behind the store; Joe, Bob and Ray Pace, Joe Novoselek of Boulder City, Nev., passed away from cancer. The Mike Robertsons have returned from California and will work again on their new house they are building up Antimony Canyon. Many had visitors during conference weekend but I do not have all the names. The Afton Bloods had their children and families here on the weekend. The Raymond Henries and their children and their families were at the Van Wileys. The Jerry Savages had the Keith Savage family from Cedar City here or the long weekend. So many attended the meeting meet-ing in Junction concerning the closing of the Otter Creek State Park and the Piute Park that the meeting, originally scheduled for the courthouse, had to be moved to the auditorium at the high school. Apparently all the talks did some good and we will be able to keep our park and workers also. The Harold Holloways have returned to Las Vegas, Nev., for doctors appointments. The Grant Proctors were here for a day at their house. Ned and Coy Burr stayed in (See ANTIMONY on page 5-A) Antimony From Page 4-A Salt Lake City for a few days after the funeral for her brother, Dahl Gleave. Shannon Allen drove his parents, the Phil Aliens, to Provo for her brother Dahl's funeral and they were home Saturday evening. This next Sunday will be the missionary farewell meeting for Cole Montague. On the following follow-ing Sunday, the farewell will be held for Kwin Willis. We are surely proud of these boys. The Otter Creek Park reports that their docks are still not finished fin-ished but should be ready soon. |
