Bill and Takisha Pollock of Ephraim were here to visit with Bill's grandparents. They brought their friends from Mt. Pleasant, Joel and Maria Slade, to visit with the Pollocks and to see the beautiful area we live in. Bill Pollock, Sr. brought another son, Dane, to spend time with everyone. Bill and Stacey Pollock live in Heber City. Stacey didn't come because she was with their daughter Crista Tovey in Taylorsville. Crista and her husband David Tovey had a baby boy, Alex David, . while Bill Sr. was here visiting with his parents. This is the first grandchild for Bill and Stacey and everyone is pretty excited about it. Then Eva and Larvin's daughter Pauline Allen, Richfield, came down to Tropic and brought Tracie, Tambrea, Jimmy, Joey and baby Cecy to visit with everyone. Pauline's husband, Brent Allen, who is a - surgeon in Richfield, was on call and wasn't able to come with his family. Dalen and Katherine Baugh were down visiting with Mate and Ruth Baugh over the Easter weekend. They brought their children with them to visit grandpa and grandma. Janet Pollock reported on the LDS Family Home Evening Group. It was held on Tuesday this week and they met at the Pizza Place. Gloria Hayden was in charge and everyone had a great time. Rella Alvey gave a nice reading for the group and then they reminisced about their past school days and laughed a lot. Attending were Rella Alvey, Helma Haas, Dixie Shakespear, Janet Pollock, LaVera Moss of Cannonville, Allyson Sudweeks, and Gloria Hayden. They usually meet each Monday at 5 p.m. Who's messing with the weather? We just get used to the warm temperatures and the blossoms blos-soms start blooming and wham, it turns cold and freezes everything. |
