Show BCNP Sets Open House in Tropic On Shuttle Service To Bryce Valley BRYCE CANYON The National Na-tional Park Service has scheduled an Open House Tuesday, Apr. 10 from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at the Tropic Town Office regarding the proposed Tropic Shuttle Route. The purpose of the Open House is to seek comment for a proposed shuttle route (Gold Line) to serve the visiting public desiring to travel from Tropic to Bryce Canyon National Na-tional Park and other plateau establishments. estab-lishments. Lewis Brother Stages, Inc., the-contractor the-contractor who operates the shuttle system for Bryce Canyon National Park, has approached the park with a proposal for the Gold Line. The Gold Line service would begin and end at the shuttle boarding board-ing area. At the shuttle boarding area, the visiting public has access to the park via the Blue Line, which stops at Ruby's Inn, Ruby's Inn Campground and the main park visitor center. From the visitor center, the Red Line serves the Park's developed area and several main amphitheater viewpoints and the Green Line provides several two and one-half hour trips to the southern end of the park each day, on a first-come, first-served. The existing shuttle system will begin operation on Friday, May 1 1. The Open House will allow the public to learn more about the proposal pro-posal in an informal setting.
